LOLA BELLE TAGGART Lola Belle (Holley) Taggart Age 79 died June 17, 2007 at her Residence in Columbus. Services will be held at on June 18, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. with Minister Elbert Wheat Officiating. Burial will follow at Lone Oak Church of Christ Cemetery Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home one hour prior to service. She was born July 10, 1927 to the late Lester and Alice Vaughan Holley in the Tippo community in Benton County, Ms. She married Rowan Taggart on June 6, 1942, and they owned Columbus Furniture for 30 years. She was a member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ. She was employed as an Occupational Therapist at Columbus Hospital and retired from Community Counseling, where she performed the same job. In addition , she also owned Lola's Ceramic Shop. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rowan Taggart, a sister Lois Duncan, and two brothers, Wiley and George Wood. Survivors include: Son-Raymond Taggart (Nancy) of Cordova, Tenn. Son-Stanley Taggart (Sherrie) of Columbus, Miss. Daughter-Mary Alice Callahand of Columbus, Miss. Daughter-Faye Greggs(Gerald) of Columbus, Miss. Daughter-Shirley Delk (Chuck) of Steens, Miss. Daughter-Vickie Dvorak (Edward) of Columbus, Miss. Daughter-Doris Sims (Roy) of Columbus, Miss. Daughter-Sue Rogers (Randy) of Vernon, Ala. Daughter-Betty Ann Hildreth (David) of Vernon, Ala. Daughter-Royena (Taggart) Smith of Vernon, Ala. Sister-Edna Salzer of New Orleans, La. Sister-Catherine Hanks of Columbus, Miss. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Rodney Dvorak, Shawn Dvorak, Rodney Greggs, Ricky Hardin, Jason Hildreth, Micheal Hildreth, Joshua Rogers, Alex Sims, Clint Sims and Ronnie Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Lone Oak Church of Christ.
