Eddie Virgil Perrigin, 80, passed away Sunday December 24, 2006 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle. Visitation is Wednesday Dec. 27, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside Services are Thursday Dec. 28, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Perrigin was born on December 8, 1926 in Pickens County Alabama to the late Eddie Parker Perrigin and Winnie Scott Hollingsworth Perrigin. He retired after 35 years in the U.S Army, having served in WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. He also retired from the Columbus Brickyard. He is survived by his 3 sons, Eddie V. Perrigin, Jr. of Columbus, Michael O. Perrigin of FL, and John C. Perrigin of Columbus; 3 sisters, and 4 grandchildren. The military will serve as pallbearers.
