Frances Willette Browning Avery Columbus, Mississippi - Frances Willette Browning Avery, 79, died July 27, 2005, at her home in Columbus, Mississippi. Mrs. Avery was born March 5, 1926, in Lamar County, AL, the daughter of the late John William and Wilda Parlee Harris Browning. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was an accomplished seamstress and cook. She loved to fish. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She was the owner and operator of Avery's Produce in Columbus, MS. Everyone called her "Granny" or Aunt Let. She was preceded in death by her sister: Billie Vails, by her first husband: Charles W. Wheeler, by her Great Grandson: Rusty Banks, and by her brother: Charles Browning. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 31, 2005, at 2:00 PM from Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Danny Avery officiating. Visitation will be Saturday 6:00-8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Sherry Greer and husband John of Columbus, MS, 3 Sons: Stanley Avery of Vance, AL, Ronnie Avery and wife Lori of Clear Water, Florida, and Mike Count of Zephyrhills, Florida, 7 Grandchildren Leigh Anne Kidder of Cordova, TN, William Richard Kidder, IV and wife Shelly of Columbus, MS, Stanley Avery, Jr. and wife Sara,of Port Richey, FL, Scott Avery of Columbus, MS, Clint Greer and wife Cindy of Halls, TN, Tera Banks of Columbus, MS and Nikki Jenkins and husband Dave of San Antonio, TX and by 12 Great Grandchildren; 3 Sisters: Opal Renfroe of Fayette, AL, Shirley Moore and husband Billy of Millport, AL, and Barbara Sansing and husband Charles Ray of Hanceville, AL and Brothers: Owen Browning and wife Rose of Millport, AL, Bobby Browning and wife Cindy of Donnellson, Iowa, Harold Browning and wife Carla of Ethelsville, AL, and Roger Browning and wife Carolyn of Piney Grove, AL. 2 Daughters-in-law: Sheila Avery of Columbus, MS, and Sherry Avery of Palmetto, AL, Numerous Loving Nieces and Nephews. Pallbearers will be Bobby Browning, Ronnie Renfroe, Mickey Renfroe, Todd Sansing, Tim Browning, Harold Browning, Jr., David Shaw, and Shawn Barnett.
