L.C. (Luther) Taylor, 63, went home to be with the Lord on October 10th. He was the son of Alyne and the late Chuck Taylor of Caledonia, Ms. L.C. was co- owner of Taylor Masonry Construction. He learned his skills from his father, Chuck. L.C. and his late brother, Dennis, worked many years side by side with their father as masons. L.C. was always active in the activites of his boys serving as a coach in the baseball and football leagues. He was an active member of the Kolola Springs Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Services are Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Don Harding officiating. Burial will be at Egger Cemetery, in Caledonia, MS. L.C. is survived by his wife Shirley B. Taylor; sons Kelsey Taylor (Kathy) and Arl Taylor (Sherry); grandchildren: Shannon Holliman (Brad), Luke, Zac, and El Taylor; sisters: Barbara Pope (James) and rita Foley (Leon); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pallbearers will be, Alfred Taylor, Max Watson, Stephen Buchanan, Ryan Buchanan, Daniel Foley, Bryan Foley, John Taylor, and Bubba Buchanan. Honorary pall bearers will be Elsie Murphy, Johnny Gibson, Nick Stripling, Tommy Campbell, Pres Dawkins, Doug Agneu, and Sammy Lindsey.
