BESSIE COLEMAN Bessie Lucille Clark Coleman, age 77, of Columbus, MS, passed away August 16, 2011, at her residence. Funeral services will be Friday, August 19, 2011, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church with Dr. Shawn Parker officiating. A graveside committal service will follow at 2:00 PM Friday, August 19, 2011, at Chamberlin Cemetery near Preston, MS. Visitation will be Thursday, August 18, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home. Mrs. Coleman was born July 8, 1934, in Kemper County, MS, to the late Floyd H. and Ida Mae Duncan Clark. She was a graduate of Lynville High School near Preston, MS, and worked for a number of years for Columbus Hospital. Mrs. Coleman was a member of First Baptist Church where she enjoyed volunteering with the Love Indeed Ministry and was a member of the Koinonia Sunday School Class. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Jimmy R. Coleman of Columbus, MS, sons, David L. Vise and his wife Tammy of Ft. Worth, TX, and Richard L. Coleman and his wife Ramona of Jasper, AL, sister, Sarah Katherine Paul of Dallas, TX, and grandchildren, Joshua Vise, Jesse Vise, and Bryan Coleman. Pallbearers will be Robert Boland, Jack Marshall, David Taylor, Tommy Southerland, Tim Patterson, and Sam Medore. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Koinonia Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Love Indeed Ministry, P.O.
