Agnes Inez Holloway Lindsey, age 87, of Columbus, MS died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, February 6, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Services will be Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Mike Smith officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens, in Columbus, MS. Mrs. Lindsey was born on Tuesday, January 31, 1922, in Fulton, AL to the late Thomas and Lillie Wade Holloway. She and her family moved to Columbus 42 years ago, when Mr, Lindsey retired from the U.S. Army. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Thomas H. Lindsey, 2 sisters and 6 brothers. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by her five daughters Linda Rayborn ( L.C., Jr.) of Fulton, AL, Brenda Choate (William) of EL Dorado, AR., Patricia Ramsey (Alvin) of Fulton, AL, Kathleen Sharp (Bill Watson) of Sturgis, MS and Teresa Gossett of Columbus, Ms and a brother Willis Holloway of Selma, Ala. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Pallbearers will be L.C. Rayborn, Jr., Alvin Ramsey. William Choate, Jimmy Rayborn, William Lollar, T.J. Gossett, Michael Downs and Josh Honnell. Honorary pallbearers will be Zachery and Zane Watson. Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
