JOHN K. NABORS John K. "Jelly Belly" Nabors Age 62 died February 7, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus. Services will be held at Covenant Life Ministries on Monday, February 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Bro. Jerry Potter Officiating burial will follow at Rowan Cemetery. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, February 8, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Mrs. Nabors was born on August 10, 1946 in Houston, MS to the late William S. and Velma Yeager Nabors. He was a retired truck driver. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters. Sue Burns, Willie Weems, Bessie Swindle, and Jimmie Cook, and his brothers, Jack Nabors, Charles Nabors, Claude Nabors, James Doss, Bill Nabors, and Fred A. Nabors. Survivors include his wife of 40 years-Brenda Bobbitt Nabors of Columbus the daughter of the late Leon and Mae Bobbitt Daughter -Lisa Nabors of Columbus, Miss. Sons -Darrell Nabors (Candi) of Columbus, Miss. -Rod McFarland, Jr. of Columbus, Miss. Sisters -Sadie Anderson of Columbus, Miss. -Cora Mae Criddle of Houston, Miss. -Jimmie Lee Williams of Houston, Miss. Brothers -J.D. Nabors of Houston, Miss. -Henry Nabors of Houston, Miss.
