Leland G. Hatton Columbus Mississippi - Leland G. Hatton 72 died February 25, 2006 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle. Mr. Hatton was born on June 10, 1933 in Iowa to the late Earl and Ethel Hatton. He was a member of the Methodist faith and a retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergant having served 20 years and in the Viet Nam War. After retirement he was employed by MUW and the city of Columbus. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sons Randy Hatton and Glenn Lucius, one Daughter Connie Jean Hefner, and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be Wednesday March 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron McDougald officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday 6 until 8 at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery/ Survivors include his wife of 33 years Nancy C. Hatton of Columbus MS, Daughters: Lori Wilson of Jackson MS, Donna Ellis of Cedartown GA, Tammy Garten of Columbus MS, Terry Williamson of Columbus MS. Sons: Marty Hatton (Shannon) of Caledonia MS, Jeff Lucius of Columbus MS, Michael Lucius (Ann Marie) of Tuscaloosa AL. 11 Grandchildren 7 Great Grandchildren. brother and sister in law Julius and Sue Collums and dear friends, Jim and Jo Ann Helton, and Larry and Paula Sudduth. Pallbearers will be U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. John Whitecar, Dr. John Stanback, Dr. Walter Cosby, Dr. Robert Jones
