JOYCE GIBSON Anita Joyce Gibson age 75 died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Generations of Vernon in Vernon AL. Services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Aubrey Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery . Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to service. Miss Gibson was born on Saturday, July 03, 1937 in Lowndes County, Mississippi to the late Frank and Myrtis Richards Gibson. She was a member of Woodland Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Lowndes County School District after 34 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Sue Lambert and Betty Jo Hosler, and her brother, Franklin N. Gibson Survivors include: One Sister: Eloise Parra (Samuel "Buddy"), Columbus, MS One Brother: Carroll "Hoot" Gibson, Vernon, AL Nephews will serve as pallbearers Memorials may be made to the Woodlawn Cemetery Fund
