Daniel L. Danny Cross, age 58, of Columbus died Friday morning, April 11, 2008 at University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham, Al. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted locally to Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00pm "7:30pm. Graveside services, conducted by Peck Funeral Home, will be Monday, April 14, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Oakridge Methodist Church Cemetery in Hartselle, Al. with Rev. Tom Elder, officiating. Mr. Cross was born January 7, 1950 in Decatur, Al to the late Russell Dee and Mary Ruth Daniel Cross. He graduated from Austin High School in Decatur and the School of Medical Technology at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. From 1982-1991 he was the Lab Director at the Columbus Hospital. In 1991 he opened Cross Golf Carts and was still the owner of that business at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Dottie Kirby Cross, Columbus, Ms; sons Bryan Cross (Beth), Austin, Tx; Michael Cross (Leigh), Pensacola, Fl.; Rusty Clark (Casey) and Collins Clark (Kim), both of Columbus; and one brother Johnny Cross (Jan), Hartselle, Al. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Bailie Cross, Kirby Clark, Cooper Clark, Madison Clark, Ella Grace Clark and Emily Anne Clark. Pallbearers will be Michael Gorum, Keith Hodges, Clint Manier, Troy Gonzales, David Stephens and Jose Sosa. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P. O.
