Otis Garrard Columbus Mississippi - Otis Garrard 79 died April 27, 2006 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle. Mr. Garrard was born on August 18, 1926 in Guin Alabama to the late Elmon Sylvester and Ethel Mae Ray Garrard. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Charlene Miller Garrard, one son Alan Otis Garrard and one brother James Edwin Garrard. Funeral services will be Saturday April 29, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from First United Methodist Church with the Dr. Sam Morris, Rev. Anne Russell Bradley, and Rev. Tony Proctor officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 until service time at the church. Survivors include Daughter: Sue Long (Bill) of Hickory NC, Grandchildren: Beth Otto (Dean) of Charlotte NC, Scott Hodges (Pam) of Atlanta GA, David Hodges of Atlanta GA, Diana Jordan (Jack) of Chicago IL, Dr. Christine Choat (Dr. Dennis) Peachtree City GA Great Grandchildren: Will Otto, Grace Otto, Skylar Hodges, Jack Choat, Aiden Choat, and Ella Kate Jordan. Pallbearers will be Dr. F.B. Wiygul, John Barron, Bobby Boozer, Bob Reynolds, Bill Clements, Reed Smith, Bill Brooks, Willis Puckett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lewis Fellowship Class, Men's Golf Association at Columbus Country Club, Mrs. Ray McEwen, Mrs. Otis Lancaster, J.C. Holley, Si Thomas, Mr. And Mrs. Tandy Wilson, Tammy Miller, Tommy Tate, Dr. John Whitecar, Charlie Waldron, Mr. And Mrs Henry Weiss, Ralph McClean Mr. And Mrs. Charles Berry, Ron Good, Dr. Bill Mullendor, Mr. And Mrs. Bob Newman.
