DAVID LEWIS James David Lewis Age 49 died September 16, 2007 at his Residence in Sarepta, LA Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 1:00 PM Concluding services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Pickle Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, September 20, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Mr. Lewis was born on August 2, 1958 in Salina Kansas to Doyce Gene Lewis and the late Robbie Hollis Lewis. He was a Missionary Baptist Minister and a graduate of Caldwell High School, Southeastern Baptist College in Laurel MS, and Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Jacksonville TX. During his ministry he served churches in the Missionary Baptist Association in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. He traveled to the Holy Land and Greece. When David was visiting home in Columbus he attended Woodland Baptist Church. Survivors include: Father-Gene Lewis of Columbus, Miss. Sister-Betty Smith (Johnny) of Columbus, Miss. Sister-Linda C. Hayward (Randy) of Caledonia, Miss. several neices & nephews-several nieces and nephews
