VIRGINIA FRASER WILLIAMS Virginia Margaret Fraser Williams passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010. Graveside services will be held Saturday September 18, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery with Dr. Shawn Parker officiating. She had spent several years at The University Nursing Center in Durant, MS. Mrs. Williams grew up in Columbus, MS where she lived until her husband passed away in 1973. She then made her home in Jackson, MS where she was a member of The Meadowbrook Church of Christ. While in Columbus she was a member of The 7th Street Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School in earlier years. At one time she and her husband, Buxton, enjoyed raising orchids as a hobby. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fraser, brothers, Rayburne Fraser and Merle Fraser, her sister Eva Byrd H. Heard and her son, Buxton T. Williams, Jr. She leaves her daughters, Ginger Williams Hite and Lillian Ann Williams. She also leaves 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
