Harold L. Morris Columbus Mississippi - Harold L. Morris 85 died September 23, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Morris was born on May 18, 2005 in Locust Grove GA to the late Paul William and Rosa Stephens Morris. He had lived most of his life in Griffin GA before moving to Columbus. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson Brian Lee Morris. Memorial services will be Monday September 26, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside with the Dr. Ted Moody officiating. Memorial Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include Wife Helen J. Morris of Columbus MS, Daughters: Peggy Shaw of Columbus MS, Rhonda Nail of Columbus MS, Donna Buffington of Zebulon GA. Son: Harold W. "Bill" Morris of Griffin GA. Grandchildren: Gordon Shaw Jr. (Melissa), Joy Morris Meyer (Stephen), Morgan Shaw, Helena Carden, Elizabeth Morris, Kristin Carden, Kathryn Buffington, Brian Buffington, Amy Buffington. Great Grandchildren: Julia Shaw, Janna Shaw, Andrew Meyer, Tanner Meyer and several nieces and nephews. Sister: Marie Tarpley of Griffin GA and two Brothers: Glenn Morris of Griffin GA, Lamar Morris of Griffin GA
