Thomas L. "Tom" Compton Oxnard California - Thomas L. "Tom" Compton 52 died September 23, 2005 at his residence in Oxnard California. Mr.Compton was born on September 9, 1954 in Macon MS to the late Paul L. Compton and Carrie Johnson Compton. He was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He was a former Columbus MS and Oxnard CA police officer and a receiving manager for retail at Port Hueneme Naval Base. Funeral services will be Saturday October 1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. from First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Derek Youngblood officiating. Visitation will be Friday 6 until 8 at Memorial Funeral Home. Survivors include his Wife Jana S. Compton of Oxnard CA, Daughter: Shannon Hammer of Oxnard CA. Sons: Miles Compton of Oxnard CA, Dallas Compton of Oxnard CA, Bernie Hammer of Oxnard CA. Grandchildren: Raven and Trinity Hammer. Mother Carrie Johnson Compton of Columbus MS Sisters: Mimi Mask of Santa Margaretta CA, Janet McLean (Joey) of Mobile AL, Holly Stamper (Bernie) of San Juan Capistrano CA.
