Audrey Earline Felts Cain, age 87, of Columbus, MS, passed away February 19, 2014, at Trinity Healthcare. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 2:00 PM at First Pentacostal Church with Rev. Steve Blaylock officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Rowan Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 22, 2014, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at First Pentacostal Church. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Cain was born November 14, 1926, in Joiner, AR, to the late Joe Horace and Thelma Letchworth Felts. She worked for Weyerhaeuser Company. Mrs. Cain was one of the first people hired when they opened the MS/AL Region Office in Columbus. She had a long career of 37 years as Land Records Clerk and later as Land Records Supervisor. Mrs. Cain was an active and devoted member of the First United Pentacostal Church where she served as secretary treasurer for many years. In her later years, Mrs. Cain enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, OW "Doug" Cain, and daughter, Jeri Denise Cain West. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Fraser and her husband Glenn of Clanton, AL, brothers, Donald Felts of Basset, AR, and Charles Lewis Richards of Sand Springs, OK, sisters, Doris Denton of Somerville, TN, Mary Martha Will of The Villiages, FL, Betty Richards of Somerville, TN, Annie Ruth Smith of Southaven, MS, and Pat Nichols of Olive Branch, MS, grandchildren, Alan West, Shellie West, Wesley Fraser, and Whitney Brackin, and 6 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Alan West, Wesley Fraser, Bob Driver, Benton Felts, Jeff Felts, and David Blackston. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Madison and Tommy Lindsey.
