DON HANSEN Donald Foster Hansen age 82 died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus. Mr. Hansen was born on Wednesday, February 22, 1928 in Macon, MS to the late Harold Hjortenberg and Nell Lenow Hansen. He was a graduate of Macon High School and attended the University of Tennessee, Memphis Campus. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, and also served in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbus, VFW Post #04272, American Legion Post #0106, 27th Infantry Regiment Association, 25th Division Association, and the Korean War Veterans Association. He was a retired employee of Microtek Medical. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Gordon Hansen. No services are planned at this time. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include: His wife-Flora Ruth Hansen. of Columbus MS And 5 step-sons
