EVELYN R. WRIGHT Evelyn Robertson Wright Age 82 died January 8, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Roy Hawkins and Chaplin Steve Brown Officiating burial will follow at Rowan Cemetery. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, January 10, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Mrs. Wright was born on September 19, 1925 in Steens to the late Andrew J. and Rubye Perkins Robertson. She attended Calvary Baptist Church and attended Steens Consolidated School and graduated from Caledonia High School in 1944. She had worked for K-Mart, The Fashion Barn and retired from United Technologies after 32 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ellis Berlin Wright, brothers, J.P. Robertson Sr., Owen Robertson, Douglas Robertson, sisters, Frances R. McCarty, Rubye Anges Robertson, and Clareene R. Curtis. Survivors include: Daughter Linda Dahlem (Ted) of Caledonia MS Daughter-Mary Ann Swindoll (Gene) of Starkville, Miss. Sister-Annie R. Lagrone of Steens, Miss. Sister-Doris Richards (Leighton) of Montgomery, Ala.
