SCOTT DEES Jamie Scott Dees age 41 died Tuesday, August 03, 2010 at his residence in Columbus. Services will be held Saturday, August 07, 2010 at 11:30 AM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Gillis officiating, burial with military honors will follow Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Bluff Springs Baptist Church Cemetery near Preston, MS. Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time and again at 2:30 p.m.at Bluff Springs Baptist Church near Preston, MS. Scott was born on Friday, January 31, 1969 in Macon, GA to Jamie G. Dees and the late Melba Diane Gully Dees. He attended State Line Baptist Church and formally worked for American Glass. He was a 1987 graduate of Forrest Hill High School in the Jackson, MS area and attended Forrest Hill Baptist Church during his youth. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in Desert Storm. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his brother John Kyle Dees. Survivors include: His Wife: Leslie W. Dees Columbus MS Father: Jamie G.
