Michael Terrance Mulligan, age 64, formerly of Columbus died Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at Starkville Manor Nursing Home in Starkville. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home , Columbus, Ms. Graveside services with military honors will be Friday, June 11, 2010 at 10.45 AM at Bay Pines National Cemetery, Bay Pines, FL . He was cremated , and his ashes will be buried in the National Cemetery at Bay Pines. Born Saturday, January 19, 1946 in Monticello, New York, he was the son of the late William Anthony Mulligan and Vera Frances Courtright Mulligan. He was a retired paint contractor and served in the Navy for 4 years. He attended and was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Columbus. He is survived by his sons Chris Mulligan and Rory Mulligan, both of Rockville, MD, his mother Vera Mulligan of Largo, FL, brothers, Pat Mulligan of Mims, FL, and Tim Mulligan of Norfolk, VA and sisters, Colleen Thompson of Largo, FL , Sharon Brauer of Boynton Beach, FL , and Maura Rouch of Frederick, MD. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 823 College St., Columbus, Ms 39701.
