LOUISE DOVE Louise Sprayberry Dove age 83 died Friday October 8, 2010 at The Windsor Place in Columbus. Services will be held Sunday October 10, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sammy Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday October 9, 2010 from 6 until 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Dove was born on November 23, 1926 in Lamar County Alabama to the late William Martin and Amy Lee Masser Sprayberry. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Columbus for over 60 years. She attended Fairview Baptist Church and gave her life to Christ at an early age after hearing a sermon by Rev. Billy Graham. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and the rock and foundation of her family. She will be remembered for her humor, quick wit, kind heart, and her enormous love for her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by the light of her life her husband E.G. Dove, sisters, Gertie Gaught, Esther Smith, and brothers, Elmus, Cull, and Camon Sprayberry. Survivors include: daughters: Lisa Holcomb and her husband Mike of Flower Mound, TX Angie Luker and her husband Leon of Columbus, MS Grandchildren: Michael J. Holcomb and his wife Denisse Michelle Ashley Holcomb Great Grandchild: Michael Joseph M.J. Holcomb III Pallbearers will be: Mike Holcomb, Leon Luker, Ivan Shelton, Wayne Dove, Ray Jordan, and Tommy Burchfield Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dr. Matt Wade, Dr. Chris LeBrun, Michael J. Holcomb II, Eric Dove, and Amy & Lester Bailey In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Columbus-Lowndes Humane Society P.O.
