JOE F. LEWIS Joe Frank Lewis age 89 died Friday, August16, 2013 at Home Place Assisted Living of Columbus. Services will be held Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Mullins officiating, burial will follow at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Iuka MS. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Mr. Lewis was born on Saturday, November 24, 1923 in Iuka, MS to the late Arthur and Mabel Hill Lewis. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the retired owner and operator of Air Base Motors. Mr. Lewis was a 32nd Degree Mason and a 65 year member of the Iuka Masonic Lodge #94 F&AM. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Willadean Lewis, and his brothers, Paul and Billy Lewis Survivors include: One Brother: Alton L.Lewis, Columbus, MS Nieces and Nephews: Lorraine Davalos, Wanda Jordan, James Lewis, Jeanette McHenry, Glenn Lewis, John Lewis, Sharon Anderson, and David Lewis Best Friend: Carlene McGill, of Columbus And a host of friends The Pallbearers will be: James Lewis, John Lewis, Terry Anderson, Dylan Anderson, Chase McGill, and Jake McGill The Honorary Pallbearers will be: Floyd Land, James Coleman, Morris Adair, Rick McGill, and Mike McGill A very special thank you to the staff of Homeplace Assisted Living In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Immanuel Baptist Church 6342 Military Rd.
