Mark Bowen age 52 died Sunday July 6, 2014 at his residence in Columbus. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Gardner officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 8, 2014, from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Bowen was born June 19, 1962, in Amory, MS, to Hoyt and Mary Robison Bowen of Scottsboro, AL. He was a graduate of Tupelo High School and worked for Sanderson Plumbing for 30 years. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Debra Butler Bowen of Columbus, MS, step sons, Chad Moore and his wife Niki of Caledonia, MS, and Lance Moore of Columbus, MS, brother, Mike Bowen and his wife Becky of Niceville, FL, sister, Angela Dennis and her husband Dan of Decatur, AL, grandchildren, Hayden Moore, Landon Moore, Jackson Moore, and Sawyer Jane Moore, nephews, Matt Dennis and Josh Dennis, and nieces, Libby Bowen, Brandy Bowen, and Madlyn Blake. Pallbearers will be Allen Bennett, Bob Wiygul, Lance Moore, Chad Moore, Mark Peterson, Justin Butler, Robert Wayne Butler, and Scotty Pickens.
