NORMA E. OSWALT Norma Estes Oswalt Age 95 died February 8, 2007 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS Services will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Steve Lammons, Rev. Ralph Windle and Rev. Ron McDougald Officiating burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, February 9, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Mrs. Oswalt was born on October 20, 1911 in Pickens County Alabama to the late Ervin and Amie Moore Estes. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she taught beginners Sunday School for over 50 years. She was lovingly called "MS HONEY". She was a member of the RSVP band where she played the "spoons": and a TOPAGER. She worked in the cafeteria at New Hope School and was a retired employee of the Woolco Department Store. She was well known for her fried apple pies and love to churn butter for her granddaughter Angie Austin at the Victory Academy Christian School Kindergarden class. survivors include: Son-James Ervin Oswalt (Faye) of Columbus, Miss.
