David D. Widner Age 75 died July 16, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle. Graveside services will be held at Friendship Cemetery on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Andy Pearson Officiating. Mr. Widner was born on July 12, 1933 in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late John William and Kitty Avitts Widner. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Mr. Widner had been in the real estate profession for over 30 years and became affiliated with Coldwell Banker West Realty of Columbus in 1991. He was a member and past Realtor of the year for the Realtors Land Institute, a member, past president, the 1996 Realtor of the year, and a life member of the Million Dollar Club of the Golden Triangle Association of Realtors. He was also a member of the Mississippi Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. Through Coldwell Banker he had received numerous awards including membership in the International Diamond Society and the International Sterling Society. He was presently licensed with the Mississippi and Alabama Real Estate Commission. In 1970 he received his pilots license. In additon to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Dub and Leroy and one sister Lorrene. Survivors include his wife of 56 years Maeanna T. Widner of Columbus, MS, his daughters Dava Imes (Stephen) of and Kittie Fountain, and Eva Gaye Evans (Ean), all of Columbus, MS. and his sister Hazel Ensor of Sikeston, MO. He is also survived by his grandchildren -Trey Imes (Logan) -Josh Fountain -Kit Sanders (Justin) -Sydney Altizer (Eddie) -Stephan Imes -Andrea Evans -Hannah Imes and Great grandchildren -MaKayla Sanders -Mardy Fountain -Bentley Imes Ferguson -Emery Altizer -Jayden Sanders Memorials can be made to Wesley United Methodist Church 511 Airline Road Columbus, MS 39702-
