PAUL D. ROBERTS Paul Day Roberts age 87 died Sunday, September 02, 2012 at Mississippi State Veterans Home in Oxford MS. Services will be held Tuesday, September 04, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Ruth officiating. Burial will follow at Egger Cemetery in Caledonia, MS. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Paul D. Roberts was born on Monday, October 20, 1924 in Yazoo City, MS to the late John E. and Louise Turnipseed Roberts. He was a charter member, trustee, and long-time Sunday School superintendent at St. Paul's Independent Methodist Church. He loved talking and having fellowship with all God's people. Brother Paul never met a stranger. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Rama Moore Roberts. Survivors include: One Daughter: Rheada Roberts Haynes (James), Hernando, MS One Granddaughter: Jacqueline Middleton (Jonathan), Auburn, AL One Great Granddaughter: Molly Cate Middleton One Brother: Rev. Eddie Frank Roberts (Miriam), Greenwood, MS One Sister: Jamie Ruth Roberts The Pallbearers will be: Talbert Honnoll, Lynn McDaniel, Dannie Honnoll, Henry Bush, Larry Northam, and Zack Suber
