Jean Frances Payne Halbert Age 82 died June 19, 2007 at her Residence. Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Glen Edmonds Officiating . Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, June 21, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Mrs. Halbert was born August 3, 1924 in Green County, Al to the late Thomas and Lottie Payne. She was employed by Seminole for many years and retired as an Instructor at Allied Enterprises. She truly enjoyed her many friends and family and possessed a gift for making each of those around her feel truly special. Several of her favorite times were bowling, playing cards and competing in Senior Olympics. She is survived by Son-Mike Depta(Ellen) of Natchez, Miss. Son-Alvin Loftis (Diane) of Caledonia, Miss. Son-Johnny Halbert of Columbus, Miss. Daughter-Margenia Murphree of Jackson, Miss. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
