DAPHINE WILLIAMSON Daphine Perrigin Williamson, age 80, of Columbus, MS, passed away November 30, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Memorial Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be Friday, December 2, 2011, at 10:00 AM at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Henderson, Rev. Mickey Dalrymple, and Rev. Sammy Crawford officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2011, from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM and again one hour prior to service at Fairview Baptist Church. Mrs. Williamson was born September 18, 1931, in Pickens County, AL, to the late Edd Parker and Winnie Scott Hollingsworth Perrigin. She was a graduate of S. D. Lee High School and charter member of Fairview Baptist Church and member of the Joy Sunday School Class. Mrs. Williamson was a lifelong employee of Airline Manufacturing Company and in addition to her parents, was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Williamson, son, Henry Williamson, granddaughter, Kaila Morris, sister, Dessie Hollis, and brothers, Virgil Perrigin, O'Neal Perrigin, and Rab Perrigin. Survivors include her sons, Ed Williamson and his wife Brenda, Fred Williamson and his wife Sarah, Leslie Williamson, and James Williamson, daughters, Judy Dunaway and her husband Mike, and Bonnie Morris, all of Columbus, MS. sisters, Janie Rhoades of Columbus, MS, and Retta Deerman of Tuscaloosa, AL, 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and family friend, Mamie Lemons. Pallbearers will be nephews, Ronnie Rhoades, Randy Rhoades, Steve Rhoades, Ben Jameson, Tim Tingle, Robert Rhyne, Gary Moore, Buddy Williamson, Terry Williamson, and Steve Williamson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ivy Coleman, Theron Aldridge, Charles Aldridge, Leon Burkhalter, Joe Gillis, Leon Speck, Al Alexander, Mark Vickers, Bill Gillis, Dale Lancaster, Jack Carr, Dr. Andy Bounds, Dr. Susan Taylor, Dr. Brett Brown, Dr. Brad Brown, Dr. Jack Reed, and members of the Joy Sunday School Class of Fairview Baptist Church.
