WILLIE GREEN Willie T Green age 83 died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Oak Tree Manor in Amory. Services will be held Saturday June 21, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Young officiating. Burial will follow at Rowan Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Mr. Green was born on Friday, October 03, 1930 in Columbus, to the late James O. and Annie Mae Reed Green. He was a 1947 Graduate of S.D. Lee High School, and a U.S. Air Force Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from The Department of Immigration and Naturalization Service as a Border Patrol Agent, and a member of the B.P.O.E. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother David Green. Survivors include: The mother of his children: Margaret M. Green, Caledonia, MS Four Sons: James O. Green, III (Shirley), Southaven, MS Mark E. Green (Rhoda), Birmingham, AL Bob A. Green (Suzette), Caledonia, MS Charles A. Green (Terri), Columbus, MS One Sister: Martha Wells (Marshall), Fort Myers, FL One Brother: Chauncey Green (Elizabeth), Columbus, MS Grandchildren: Jennah, Jamie, Emily, Jonathan, Mary Katherine, Mechille, Chester, Jessica, Amanda, Ryan, Christie, LaRae, Tiffany, and Leslie 12 Great Grandchildren Grandsons will service as pallbearers. The Honorary Pallbearers will be: Employees of the Immigration & Naturalization Service, and Member of B.P.O.E.
