Erlene Crowley White, age 77, of Columbus, Miss., died Monday, December 10, 2007, at Regency Hospital Meridian in Meridian, Miss. Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home where visitation was held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 11, 2007. The funeral service will be in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 12, 2007, with Rev. Shirley Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow at Egger Cemetery in Caledonia, Miss., with Rev. Jearl Hunley officiating. She was the daughter of the late Willie Crowley and Ella Baker Crowley and was born December 15, 1929 in Webster County, Ms . In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clarence E. White , who died Jan. 28, 2000. Mrs. White had been a resident of Columbus since 1964, moving here from Calhoun City with her family. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Gail White Fetner and Frank of Macon, Miss. Active and Honorary pallbearers will be LaVelle Hatcher, Walter Harris, Lenon White, Orlando Taylor, Mike Pittman, Wayne Brown, Billy Quick, and Frank Fetner.
