Jewell F. Brown Columbus Mississippi - Jewell F. Brown 95 died October 17, 2005 at Homeplace of Columbus. Mrs. Brown was born in Monroe County to the late Erwyn Julius and Ollie Henderson Freeman. She was a member of Caledonia United Methodist Church. She graduated from Artesia High School as valedictorian and attended Draughn's Business College. She taught school for 2 years at Flint Hill and retired from Seminole Manufacturing after 32 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Wilson Brown, her son Wilson Freeman Brown, and her brothers Albert Lloyd Freeman, Erwyn Earl Freeman, Charles Hurd Freeman, and Kelly Carey Freeman. Funeral services will be Thursday October 20, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. from Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Lavon Haden and Pam Galloway officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 until service time at Memorial Funeral Home.
