Leroy Smith Caledonia Mississippi - Elbert Leroy Smith 65 died October 21, 2005 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle. Mr. Smith was born on July 20, 1940 in Allen MS to the late Carl Monroe and Agnes Huffman Smith. He was a member of Bude Baptist Church, and a retired Master Sargent in the U.S. Air Force having served in the Viet Nam War. He was a Mason at Lodge #397 in Dalzell SC, a member of The Scottish Rites in Columbia SC, a Shriner at Hamas Temple in Meridian MS, and past President of the Columbus Shrine Club. Funeral services will be Tuesday October 25, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. from Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Monday 6 until 8 at Memorial Funeral Home. Survivors include Wife Parthinea M. "Pat" Smith of Caledonia MS, Daughters: Teresa Marie Chaltry (Michael) of Bon Air GA, Crystal Dodd (Bobby) of Heidleburg Germany. Son: Kevin Smith (Kim) of Mounds OK. Grandchildren: Jason Chaltry, Andrew Chaltry, Stephan Chaltry, Tina and Matt Bennett, Katie Jo Smith, Brett Smith, and Mattie Smith, Chelsey Dodd, and Ryan Dodd. Sister: Patricia H. Halford (Kirby) of Eddiciton MS . Brother and sister-in-law Fred and Diane Massey of Amarillo TX. Pallbearers will be Howard Patrick, James Williams, Willard Hartle, Terry Hartle, James Bobitt, Clifford Caldwell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. John Whitecar, Rev.
