Jerry Allen Hays, 61, of Columbus, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Vineyard Court Nursing Center. Dr. Shawn Parker officiated a graveside service at Asbury Cemetery on Saturday, December 8, 2012. Jerry was born April 23, 1951, in Columbus Mississippi. He was proceded in death by his parents, Kelly and Eula Mae Hays. He enjoyed attending Woodland Baptist Church. Jerry worked at the ACT Center for many years. He enjoyed watching football and was an avid MSU fan. Jerry was a twelve year resident of Vineyard Court Nursing Home. Jerry is survived by his brother, Billy Hays (Rosemary) of Columbus, MS; niece, Mary Katharine Hays (Kevin) of Enid, OK; and nephew, Patrick Hays (Brittany) of Caledonia, MS.
