William Newton "Pat" Crawford

William Newton "Pat" Crawford Age 89 died February 9, 2009 at Cherub's Personal Care Home in Steens. Services will be held at Extra Methodist Church near Hamburg, AR on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jeff May officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, February 13, 2009 from 11:00 AM until service time. Memorial Funeral Home in Columbus, MS is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Crawford was born in Hamburg, AR on August 21, 1919 to the late Tom and Lillie Victoria Farmer Allen. He was a member of White Avenue Baptist Church in Bastrop, LA where he had been a Sunday School Superintendent, a Sunday School Teacher, and a Deacon. He was a retired meat cutter, an avid fisherman and gardener. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Glennis Day Crawford. Suvivors include: Daughter -Jane Lee (Delmer Ray) of Columbus, Miss. Grandchildren -Ryan Lee (Leah) of Columbus, Miss. -Patrick Lee (Michelle) of Columbus, Miss.
