Mae Humphreys Roberson age 87 died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus. Services will be held Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Mrs. Roberson was born on Saturday, January 20, 1923 in Montrose, MS to the late George and Johnnie Hollingsworth Humphreys. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Addis Roberson, her sons Louis and Murphy Roberson and grandson Tyler Roberson. Survivors include one daughter Patti Cooper (J.T.) of Columbus, MS and one son Joe Ray Roberson, Columbus, MS,12 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren The Pallbearers will be Chestley Basson, Benny Edwards, Don Harris, and Alvin Bobo The Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Michael Duckworth & Staff Dr. Doyle Sumrall & Staff
