She was a communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Lee Sanders Sr., one daughter Winifred Ann Sanders, one granddaughter Winifred Ann Sanders, two brothers Henry and Robert Sargent.
