Miss Ernest BonEtta (Thompson) Thompson, age 95, of Columbus, Miss., died Saturday, January 13, 2007, at Windsor Place Nursing Home in Columbus, Miss. Visitation is Monday January 15, 2007 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Memorial Funeral Home. A Graveside service will follow at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Gary Walker officiating. Miss Thompson was born on December 10, 1911 in Pontotoc, Ms to the late Luther Silas Thompson and Eula Pound Thompson. She was retired from the Columbus and Greenville Railroad and served for several years as the Lowndes County Election Commisioner. She was a member of East End Baptist Church and the Prairie Charter Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Vance Walker Thompson and Curtis Holditch Thompson. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to East End Baptist Church 380 Highway 50 West Columbus, Ms 39705
