Cecilia Nickoles Charlton, age 70, died Thursday, July 02, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, July 05, 2009 from 1:00PM - 3:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Jack Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Charlton was born in Columbus November 26, 1938 to the late Marvin and Johnnie Nell Burks Nickoles. She was a member of the Church of God and had previously attended Bread of Life Fellowship. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson Joseph H. Nickoles. She is survived by her son: Douglas Wayne Nickoles; her sister Othelia Davis, both of Columbus, Ms ; brothers Clinton Nickoles, Dallas, TX and Marvin Nickoles, Columbus, MS; Granddaughter Kelly Garrison (Jason), Vernon, Al; and great granddaughter, Jacey Auburn Garrison. Pallbearers will be Corey Davis, Justin J. Davis, Justin Todd Davis, Todd Davis, Steven Nickoles, Jason Garrison, and Devin Downey. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill (Snapper) Davis, Jr., Jeff Davis, Terri Roach, Kenneth Roach, and the Staff of Aurora Australis Lodge Halls 1 & 2. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Charlton's memory to Bread of Life Fellowship Church, 100 Old New Hope Road, Columbus, MS 39702 or the charity of your choice.
