TWANNIE KING Twannie T. King age 83 died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at her residence in Caledonia. Services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Broadacres United Methodist Church with Rev. Ron Thomas officiating, burial will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be held Saturday from noon until service time at the church. Mrs. King enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, school reunions, traveling, playing Bingo and cards, cooking and baking, and watching soap operas. She was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was well known for her coconut and pecan pies and other recipes she prepared for church and family. Mrs. King was born on Saturday, August 31, 1929 in Carthage, MS to the late Walter Gray Thigpin and Katie Fields Thigpin Saxon. She was a member of Broadacres United Methodist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Emily Thigpin, her brother George Thigpin, great niece Karen Robertson Jefcoat and her son-in-law Lane Blankenship. Blankenship, Southaven, MS One Sister: Mary Thigpin Flynn, Anguilla, MS Seven Grandchildren Sharon Stringfellow Shawn Sudduth Bradley Sudduth Wesley Speed Angela Blankenship Jeffery Blankenship Stacy Blankenship 12 Great Grandchildren Niece: Dolly Flynn Helton And her faithful companion, her toy poodle, NOELLE The Pallbearers will be: Shawn Sudduth, Bradley Sudduth, Jeffery Blankenship, Stacy Blankenship, Rick Griffin, Billy Speed, Eric Sudduth, and Marc Sudduth The Honorary Pallbearers will be: O.D.
