Katherine LeNoir Miller Age 84 died June 28, 2007 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS Services were held at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 2, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Glenn Miller Officiating burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery Visitation was at Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, July 2, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Katherine LeNoir Miller was born October 24, 1922 in Houston, Tx, the daughter of the late Kedar P. and Rennie Louise McEachin Miller. She moved with her family to Columbus while still young and graduated from S.D. Lee High School. She also attended MSCW. She was a direct lineal descendent of King Robert the Bruce of Scotland on her maternal side, and on her paternal side, she was also a descendent of Daniel Boone and Sam Houston. She was also a descendent of William David and Rachel Morris Prowell, early settlers of Lowndes County. She held membership in the DAR and UDC. She was a published poet, an artist, and she collected antiques . Survivors include: Cousin-Bill Calldicot of Senatobia, Miss.
