Harold Eugene Hollis Age 79 Died at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle. Services will be held Monday July 17, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church with Father Robert Dore officiating. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetey near Millport AL. Visitation will Sunday July 16, 2006 from 6 until 8 at Memorial Funeral Home, and one hour prior to service Monday at the church. Mr. Hollis was born on January 3, 1927 in Gordo AL to the late Columbus Roy and Maudie McManus Hollis Sr. He was a member of St. Stephens United Methodist Church and a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. He worked as a civil service mechanic at Brookley Field in Mobile, a supervisor at Allied Enterprise, and later owned and operated Steens Superette for 15 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 1st wife Mollie Wheat Hollis, brothers C.R. Hollis Jr., W.C. "Cranford" Hollis, Winston Hollis, and sisters Marion Lynn, and Arlene Cork. Survivors include: Wife-Delores- Belhumeur Hollis of Columbus, Miss., Daughter-Judy H. Oglesby (Mike) of Steens, Miss., Son-Alan K.
