PATRICIA LOTT Patricia Ann Cade Lott, age 73, of Columbus, MS, passed away August 21, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Sam Morris, Rev. Tony Proctor, and Rev. Ann Russell Bradley officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will also be Tuesday, August 23, 2011, from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church. Memorial and Gunter & Peel Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Lott was born February 27, 1938, in Natchez, MS, to the late Thomas E. and Martha Bearden Cade. She was a graduate of Okolona High School where she was Homecoming Queen and Miss Hospitality. Mrs. Lott received her BS and Masters degrees from Mississippi University for Women in home economics and interior design. She taught school for a number of years at Heritage Academy and Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science. Mrs. Lott was a member of the Junior Auxiliary and First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Thomas E. Lott, Jr., son, Toby Lott and wife Kim, daughter, Marion Lott Kilarski and husband Doug, son, Ed Lott and wife Patti, aunt, Doris Stennis Bearden, and grandchildren, Morgan Lott, Cade Lott, Anna Kilarski, Douglas Kilarski, and J. R. Jourdan, all of Columbus, MS. Pallbearers will be Dr. Brad Brown, Dr. Brett Brown, Bryan Brown, Russell Brown, Thomas Fitzner, Tommy Howard, Billy Phillips, and Miller Puckett. Honorary pallbearers will be James Brooks, Oliver Phillips, Mike Hawkins, Jimmy Elkin, Mike Rooker, Jim McAlexander, Rodger James, Dr. John Fields, Barry Howard, Frank Griffin, John Prince, Bob Keys, Woodie Byars, Sy Thomas, Foster Kennedy, James Prude, and the Praymen Group, Billy Coleman, Tommy Nettles, Dr. Alan Williams, Gordon Flowers, Birney Imes, III, Rick Garner, Ronny Roberts, Roger Truesdale, and Jim Davidson.
