Frederick Lee "Fred" Dodson age 65 died Tuesday, September 01, 2009 at his residence in Columbus. Services will be held Friday, September 04, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ron Delgado officiating, burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home Thursday, September 03, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Fred was born on Saturday, October 30, 1943 in Columbus, MS to the late Jessie Lynn and Evelyn Brewster Dodson. He was employed for over 40 years at the Mississippi Employment Security Commission. Fred loved gardening and traveling. He delighted in all accomplishments of his grandchildren, nephews and neice. Survivors include: His wife-Linda McGill Dodson of Columbus MS Step-Daughter- Dawn Butz (John) of Dallas, TX Two Grand Children: Sarah Elizabeth Butz Graham Hudson Butz Mother-in-law: Carlene McGill Brother-in Law: Rick McGill (Edna) Mike McGill (Mitzi) Nephews: Chase and Jake McGill Niece: Anna Kathryn McGill Pallbearers will be: Mike Drogula Gene Lanier Dennis Ming Bob Loftis David Mann Bill Wilkins
