PHILIP THARP "TADDY" DEAN Philip Tharp Dean Age 55 died August 30, 2006 at his residence in Columbus, Graveside services will be held at Friendship Cemetery on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at 10:00 AM with Dr. Dr. Walt Porter Officiating Visitation will be at the home of Fran and Richard Brown 403 9th Street South Columbus MS on Friday, September 1, 2006 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Mr. Dean was born on January 28 1951 in Washington DC to Willis Calvin Dean and the late Mary Ann Dazey. He was a graduate of Ole Miss Law School, a member of the Mississippi Bar Association and an avid golfer. Survivors include: Son-Philip Austin Dean of Columbus, Miss. Daughter-Mary Katherine Dean of Atlanta, Ga. Father-Willis Calvin Dean of San Antonio, Texas step-brother-John Dazey of Marietta, Ga.
