Onzell Clardy Leverette, age 78, of Caledonia, MS, passed away March 23, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard "Dicky" Bryan officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery near Millport, AL. Visitation will be Monday, March 25, 2013, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home. Mrs. Leverette was born October 14, 1934, in Pickens County, AL, to the late William Vaughn and Eva Mae Mosley Clardy, Sr. She was a graduate of Grenada High School and a resident of Lowndes County for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Leverette, Sr. Survivors include her daughter, Cessney Leverette Brown of Columbus, MS, brothers, William Vaughn "Bud" Clardy, Jr. and his wife Yvonne of Cabot, AR, Paul H. Clardy and his wife Kay of West Point, MS, and Tom K. Clardy and his wife Beth of Corinth, MS, sisters, Alice Darnell Stahl of Aberdeen, MS, and Ivy Dean Gilreath and her husband Robert of Aberdeen, MS, grandchildren, Miranda Thompson and her husband Jake, Thomas Paul Rosselot, and Michael Nichols, and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Lance Clardy, Chris Clardy, Chad Clardy, Paul Rosselot, Jake Thompson, and Avery Mills. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Matthew Wade and the staff of Baptist Memorial Hospital.
