Mrs. Martha Loraine Box, age 87, of Tupelo, Miss., died Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at her Residence in Tupelo, Miss. . She was the daughter of the late Barney Jourdan and the late Maybelle Clark. Mrs. Box was a member of Deer Brook Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Roy Thomas Box; four brother, Dan Jourdan, Wilburn Jourdan, T.C. Jourdan, and J.W. Jourdan; and one sister, Elizabeth Cade. She is survived by her Two Daughters: Dr. Brenda (Box) Wilder of Clinton, Miss. and Linda R. (Box) Mowry of Brooksville, Miss. Two Sons: Roy Jackson Box (Ann) of Tupelo, Miss. and Melvin Eugene Box (Verbie) of Franklinton, La. Three Sisters: Clara Kemp Hazel White Earline Howell One Brother: Roosevelt Jourdan Eleven grandchildren Eighteen great-grandchildren Two great-great grandchildren Pallbearers are: Mel Box, Mickey Box, Tony Box, Rodney Box, Matthew Box, Thomas Mowry, Joey Wilder, and Johnny Kemp. Arrangements are being handled by Memorial Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, October 6, 2006. Funeral service will be at Memorial Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 7, 2006 , Bro. Lemmons officiating. Interment will be at Brooksville Cemetery in Brooksville, Miss.
