REV. INGE MOBLEY HALBERT The Rev. Inge Mobley Halbert age 77 went to be with his Lord on July 20th, 2013 ending a ministry of over 50 years. He served United Methodist Churches throughout the state of Mississippi. Included in his pastoral ministry was a talent for singing and playing the piano. He was born and raised in Caledonia, MS, and died there while preparing to take up primary residence in Tremont, MS where he had recently been appointed to a new charge. He was preceded in death by his father, L.A. Mobley Halbert, his mother, Lucille Reed Halbert, and his grandson Eric Halbert. Services will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Caledonia United Methodist Church with Rev. Todd Lemmon and Rev. Ben Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Egger Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Survivors include his wife Martha Jane Halbert Caledonia, MS two sons Phillip Halbert (Amanda), Madison, MS, Michael Halbert (Melinda), McCalla, AL, one sister Gloria Ann Newberry (Jack), Caledonia, MS and three grandchildren Brent Halbert, Kelsey Halbert and Hallie Halbert. The Pallbearers will be Bobby Egger, Fred Chappel, Mike Painter, Barry Goode, Larry Lawrence, Graham Allen, Matt Egger, and Jason Nicholson The Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Newberry, William (Mack) Egger, Chauncey Green, Willie T. Green, Rev. C.D. Edge, Rev.
