Mr. William L. Carrigan, age 73, of Columbus, Miss., died Thursday, November 9, 2006, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Golden Triangle. Arrangements are being handled by Memorial Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, November 13, 2006. The funeral service will be at Memorial Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 14, 2006 , with James Black officiating. Mr. Carrigan was born on January 27, 1933 in Ohio County Indiana to the late Henry Carrigan and the late Mary Dickison Carrigan. He was a member of The Green Oaks Golf Club, The American Legion, and The Good Samaritans Sams Club (Friendly City). He retired from the United States Air Force after serving 26 years, and having been in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He devoted his life to his children and grandchildren, for his family was most important to him He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Joan Carrigan, as well as his daughters: Pam Lolley (Charlie), Sunan Nunn (Wayne), Wendy McGraw (Jim), and Penny Watkins (Scottie); sister, Dorothy Welch and brother-in-law William "Bill" Welch; granddaughters: Carla Simber (Travis), April Farmer (Craig), Heather Walker, Jessica Nunn, Monica Nunn, and Carri McGraw; grandsons: Tio Nunn and Jon McGraw (Jen); nieces: Vicki Gardewing (Lee) and Kim Craft (Kenny); and many other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Jon McGraw, Traivs Zimber, Craig Farmer, Chris -, Rick Jackson, Tio Nunn, and Dustin Gardewing.
