Mrs. Vurla Adell (Perkins) Kyles Age 88 died Monday July 31, 2006 at her Residence in Columbus, MS Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, August 7, 2006 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Shawn Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, August 5, 2006 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mrs. Kyles was born on March 15, 1919 in Lamar County Alabama to the late Claudius and Icie Taylor Perkins. She was a member of Columbus First Baptist Church and former owner/operator of Sugg's Barb-b-que. She was also a former dietician at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Cecil Suggs, her 2nd husband Melvin Kyles, a daughter Cecile Fowler, brothers Luda and Vada Lee Perkins, and stepchildren Dawn Kyles and Wayford Kyles. Survivors include: Daughter-Mrs. Edna Mae (Suggs) Bates and her husband Sam of Marlton, N.J. Grandchild-Ken Starbeck of Medford, N.J. Grandchild-Tracy Fowler of White Plains, N.Y. Grandchild-Stephanie Fowler of El Paso, Texas Brother-Leslie Perkins and his wife Bobbie of Caledonia, Miss. step-grandchild-Melissa Grant step-grandchild-Bryan Kyles son-in-law-Bob Fowler of El Paso, Texas
