CORINNE E. EDWARDS Corinne E. Edwards, age 87, of Columbus, MS, passed away March 27, 2011, at her residence. Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Ralph Windle officiating. The visitation will also be Wednesday, March 30, 2011, from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Memorial Funeral Home. Mrs. Edwards was born October 16, 1923, in Woodland, MS, to the late Thomas and Lottie Jennings Edwards. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and was always kind to others. Mrs. Edwards was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and in addition to her parents, was preceded in death by her sister, Miriam E. Nabors, and son-in-law, Bobby Green. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Wilson Edwards of Columbus, MS, daughters, Patricia Carroll, and her husband, Chuck of Columbus, MS, Diane Lowrimore and her husband, Ernest of Crawford, MS, Brenda Campbell, and her husband, Charles of Columbus, MS, and Debbie Lancaster, and her husband, Danny of Ethelsville, AL, sister, Joy Sweeney, and her husband, Bob of Amory, MS, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and several neices and nephews. Pallbearers will be Blake Carroll, Brett Carroll, Mike Young, Eric Lowrimore, Scottie Perrigin, Drew Lawrimore, and Jonathan Goodman.
